About me

I’m Whitney Hubbell and I’m a writer from Michigan based in Osaka. I currently work as a science writer at a university in Japan and I also write freelance on travel, culture, and daily life in Japan. 

Besides the US and Japan, I have studied in Germany, taught English in Austria, and completed a master’s in Scotland. I’m a graduate of the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and the University of Edinburgh.
